Project Description
Oakbridge Park was designed to extend a living bridge between old and new residents of Oakridge to accommodate increasing density in an evolving neighbourhood. The park aims foster relationships between people and the surrounding natural environment, facilitate connections through shared experiences, celebrate spaces for the full spectrum of emotions, and provide a climate-resilient landscape that will grow alongside future generations.
This project was a collaboration with Elliot Bellis, Kaitlin Wiebe, and Sam Kohlmann and was completed in April 2023 for the Landscape Architecture Studio II at the University of British Columbia (UBC), with direction from Daniel Roehr and Maren McBride.
